Jabba Scarf

Hello. Spring is beginning to shine through the clouds here in the UK, but March is mostly chilly. A ‘false sun’ as we call it; beautiful sunshine but not much warmth.

I designed the Jabba scarf pattern because I felt ridiculous sat at home in March in my big winter scarf. Jabba is stylish and has a beautiful drape because of the 4ply yarn weight.

That’s right I designed another 4ply/sock weight stash buster for you all!

I was also motivated to design Jabba because I bought some lovely Zauberperlen yarn from Schoppel on our trip to Black Sheep Wools last year and was struggling to use it. The difficulty came from it being a lovely ombre yarn, but I was struggling to find a pattern that would use it all – not less and not more – so I could capture the full colour transition effect.

I’m delighted this pattern ticks so many style and crochet boxes.

Why Jabba? Well, I think laid flat, the scarf is the shape looks like a popular space slug.

Jabba is available on Ravelry and Etsy for digital download and Etsy for a printed and posted booklet.

Have fun and as always, we would love to see your Little Miss Drop Stitch makes!
