Perfect Autumn Scarf

Welcome to Little Miss Drop Stitch’s second published knitting pattern. If you’re like me then come 1st September the forest green bedding comes out and I start baking; getting in the mood to hunker down. I also like to wrap up on canal walks and look the part, however, in the UK there can be lovely bright September days with plenty of warmth.

That is why I designed the Perfect Autumn Scarf. Knitted in 4ply, the scarf is nice and fine so you won’t overheat, but knitted on 3.5mm needles, so you won’t get bored! It is also perfect for a beginner to dip their toes into lace knitting, as the selvage features an eyelet design. This is a 2 in 1 pattern, for an ‘easy’ version and a neat slip stitch selvage version.

I am increasingly growing passionate about projects which use up my humungous 4ply sock yarn stash and I managed to make a dent in mine with this project. Stripe it out with minis, or indulge in that single hank of luxury yarn in your stash which hasn’t yet had it’s moment.

As always, the digital pattern is available on Ravelry and Esty. There is also the opportunity, with worldwide postage, to order a printed A5 copy in quality gsm paper. For UK buyers, Etsy have some sort of post Brexit-UK specific tax on digital products, making it a pound more expensive, so I’d advise purchasing the digital copy on Ravelry.

I can’t wait to see your Perfect Autumn Scarf #lmds.
