My…I have been busy designing pumpkin patterns for you all this Autumn.
There is nothing better than the rain drizzling outside, a hot drink (and possibly some chocolate) and making pumpkins.
I LOVE how versatile they are and can be in traditional Halloween colours, or neutral shades to suit your home. And anything in between. This year I have gone for traditional colours in a tweed yarn, which creates a rustic and homely aesthetic.
This year I have for you knitted, crochet and sewn pumpkins, as well as FREE designs.
Here are our 2024 pumpkin designs.
Links will be repeated below but for your information, knit and crochet patterns are available digitally on our Ravelry and both digitally and printed on our Etsy with worldwide postage.
Our Freebies and sewn pumpkins have a YouTube tutorial. Sewn also have a step-by-step picture tutorial on our website here.

Pumpkin Patch Family – Crochet
I love making my designs accessible to as many crafters as possible, so I also created a crochet version.

Michael Mouse Pumpkin
Have some bibbty bobbity crochet fun this Halloween.
Lil Chunky Pumpkin – Crochet
Last year, you all loved our free knitted pumpkin pattern and tutorial. I was asked if there is a crochet version and there is now!
As a thank you to you all supporting me, I do like to come out with free patterns. Follow the YouTube video tutorial or download a written pattern from Ravelry for FREE. A printed version can be purchased from Etsy for a small charge to cover printing costs.
Sewn Pumpkins
This was actually my mum’s idea to make little pumpkins and hide them around the UK on our travels. I came up with this speedy fabric version to make as many or as few as you like. They make great last minute gifts also.
This pattern is completely free and is available as a YouTube tutorial, Shorts tutorial and good old fashioned written step-by-step instructions.
Here is also a little video of my favourite pumpkin drop, which was in Edinburgh
Well, I think I deserve a little rest after all that making and designing. Whilst I’m making socks for Christmas presents, why not have a gander at last year’s designs.
We would love to see any of your Little Miss Drop Stitch makes.
Take care, Rachel G x
